Ahh...home at last

I am finally home from working at Millersville University for Project Forward Leap (PFL). We work with kids from more underprivileged schools/backgrounds to aid them in getting a head start in their school year, etc. I was working with 9th grade students. I had a group of seven girls and they were sweet, ridiculous, and sassy. It was fun but I am happy it was only a two week program as I don't think I could do the regular program which is five weeks! I just felt like I was distracted a lot with thinking about Bolivia and feeling lonely.
But now that I am home I need to get everything in order. I have make sure I have everything lined up with my visa, buy necessary materials, and see friends and family that I wont be seeing for the next year! I am feeling more and more excited and have been reading articles on Evo Morales, and all the current issues.
I have talked to various people who have revealed to me that Santa Cruz is a more affluent city that have very different ideological views that what I would align myself which will be both exciting and challenging. I pray that I may just learn a lot and refrain from jumping to conclusion but instead listen and reflect.

Lastly, I cant wait to chill with Kyle during training week! More to come later...

paz,
Arelis
